Mike Thrutchley reports as follows: Block Cabin Remodel -- We were able to block for sinks, clean bath floors for paint, reframe for showers, set shower stalls, plumb same and temporarily set sinks in Cabins 15 & 16. Reset and wired the water heater, rewired for outlets, sheetrocked and taped in water heater closet and put up half of the ceiling in Cabin 16. Manager’s Office -- Installed bracing and soffit on much of the Office as well as more tin on the roof. Prepped for the ridge cap and installed a solar vent fan as well as Hardie Board on two gables. Installed a new key rack. Lodge Suite -- Put down carpet in the last bedroom and worked on the baseboards, painted the living and dining room and the newly carpeted bedroom, touched up paint in the master bedroom, replaced blinds, cleaned window frames, painted an accent wall, finished the ceiling in the living and kitchen, cleaned and decorated the apartment for the summer. Dining Hall -- Framed a wall for the future pantry and installed shelves and plastic bins for towels and linens beside the washers and dryers on the back porch. Replaced ceiling tiles, fixed fluorescents, general cleanup and repaired and installed a foosball table. General -- Surveyed for electrical, plumbing, A/C and living condition problems. Started mapping out water, sewer and underground electric. Insulated the walls, repaired plumbing and put Hardie Board on the back of the Men's Bath House. Started the Hardie on the beams of the Block Cabins. Checked Manager’s Home for roof leaks and cleaned off the roof. Put up the RV Park signs. Sealed the children's equipment and wooden benches; painted the swing set and installed new safety swings. Moved furniture back where it belongs. Fixed toilet in Cabin 36 and fluorescents in Price Hall. Put nets on soccer goals. Cleaned up porches at the Lodge. Raked up the site Missionary Cabins 5 & 6 used to be and cut and burned limbs.
