Mike Thrutchley reports progress on the following projects: Lodge: Caulked and painted the trim and built and installed window stools in the 2 East suites; fixed the shower in the SE suite; painted and installed light fixtures and finished painting the accent walls and mural in the SE suite; hung the mirror in the SE suite bath; hooked up sinks in the SE and NE suites; secured beds to the wall in the staff suites and finished the license plate base board in the boy’s staff suite. In the West Apartment, got the tub tiled, set the remaining door and mounted the medicine cabinet to the bathroom, put down most of the wood flooring. Also, put insulation on the ductwork for the Lodge upstairs, installed several ac vents throughout, finished the ceiling in room 7 as well as 2 hall ceilings and put up trim in numerous places throughout the Lodge. Barn: Installed windows and worked on the tin on the North side. General: Cut out brush and trees at the Meditation Chapel, Labyrinth, old Bath House and in back of the Shop; replaced door at Block Cabin 16; fixed the ceilings in the Dining Hall and Children's Tabernacle; cleaned up quite a bit and put up memorial plaques in the Meditation Chapel and at the Bath House drinking fountain; installed 2 pediment shelves for Cabin 21.
